KRIMOX-625 Tablets (Amoxycillin 500 mg + Potassium Clavulanate 125 mg)

KRIMOX-625 is a broad-spectrum prescription antibiotic that combines Amoxycillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic, with Potassium Clavulanate, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Amoxycillin works by killing bacteria through inhibition of bacterial cell-wall synthesis. Some bacteria produce enzymes (beta-lactamases) that can inactivate amoxycillin; clavulanate blocks these enzymes, thereby restoring and enhancing the antibacterial activity. This combination makes KRIMOX-625 effective against a wider range of bacteria, including many that are resistant to amoxycillin alone.
