KRIZONE-S Injection is used in the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections such as:

• Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)
• Urinary tract infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Intra-abdominal infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Bloodstream infections (septicemia)
• Gynecological infections
• Post-surgical and hospital-acquired infections

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage and duration depend on the type and severity of infection and should be decided by the physician.
• Administered by intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) route.
• Reconstitution and administration should be done only by trained healthcare professionals.
• Dose adjustment may be required in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
• Complete the full prescribed course to prevent antibiotic resistance.

Caution

• For bacterial infections only; not effective against viral infections.
• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins, penicillins, or beta-lactam antibiotics.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disorders.
