Benefits / Uses:

PANTOSHA-40 is used for the treatment and prevention of acid-related disorders, including:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Acid reflux and heartburn
• Peptic and duodenal ulcers
• Erosive esophagitis
• Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and other hypersecretory conditions
• Prevention of gastric ulcers caused by NSAIDs

Dosage & Administration

• Take one tablet daily or as prescribed by the physician.
• Should be taken preferably before meals, usually in the morning.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.
• Dosage and duration depend on the condition being treated.
• Follow the complete course as advised by the doctor.

Caution

• Not recommended for patients with known hypersensitivity to pantoprazole or other PPIs.
• Long-term use may increase the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium levels, or bone fractures.
• Use with caution in patients with severe liver disease.
• Common side effects may include headache, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, or flatulence.
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical supervision.
