KRIZONE 1 gm Injection is indicated for the treatment of:

• Respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Intra-abdominal infections
• Bloodstream infections (septicemia)
• Meningitis
• Typhoid fever and other serious bacterial infections

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage and duration are determined by the physician based on the type and severity of infection.
• Administered by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection.
• To be reconstituted and administered only by trained healthcare professionals.
• Dose adjustment may be required in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
• Complete the full prescribed course for effective treatment.

Caution

• For bacterial infections only; not effective against viral infections.
• Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillin antibiotics.
• Use with caution in patients with liver, kidney, or gallbladder disorders.
• Possible side effects include pain at injection site, diarrhea, nausea, rash, or allergic reactions.
• Seek immediate medical attention if severe allergy, persistent diarrhea, or jaundice occurs.
